Numerous men, dressed like crusaders, were awaiting the crowning of a new leader. They all bowed in the dimly lit throne room as a tall man approached the throne room.. He had long, light green hair with bangs split behind him to the sides, as well as the top of his head. He was wearing a majestic uniform with two eye patterns, one yellow and one purple, with a castle-like rim at the top. The boy beside him, a young man simply wearing a gray sweater and blue pants, walked up to the throne and sat down. The crusaders knelt down and bowed in honor of their king.

“At your service,” the crusaders shouted proudly. “High Lord Ghetsis!”

“I appreciate your arrival, my servants,” Ghetsis humbly replied. “However, you shall no longer refer to me as High Lord. That title will be given to my young son, here.”

One crusader handed him a crown, with numerous jewels of all kinds. He walked over and placed the crown on top of the child's head.

“The new leader!” Ghetsis said. “The new ruler of the Plasma Dynasty! Bow down to High Lord N!”

They all bowed to the mysteriously named “N.” He was honored to obtain such a great title. He stood up as everyone followed.

“Let's liberate these Pokémon,” N said. “My fellow crusaders!”

Pokémon Cross Revolution: Unova Guardians!

Episode #1: The Journey Begins For Ezekiel Suou!

Nuvema Town was a small quaint town where many Trainers from Unova began their journey. The young teen, Ezekiel Suou, known commonly in town as Zeke, wasn't any different. He was a tall boy with short black hair with one bang pointed outward. He put on his white, long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans as he head outside to play his pet Purrloin. He ran outside and saw a small cat with purple fur and patches of cream around its neck, legs and back. It also had fur above its eyes that were a brighter pink.

“Hey, Sandy,” Zeke said. “Want to play?”

    “Purr, purr!” she said.

Zeke got her favorite toy and shook it. He threw it and went after it. The two were great friends and nothing could separate them apart. Zeke's mother, a young brunette with a flower-patterned white T-shirt with a pink apron on walked out with a present wrapped in green with yellow stripes.

“Ezekiel!” his mother said. “You got a present from Professor Juniper!”

Zeke and Sandy the Purrloin stopped playing as they went over to see what it was.

“It's addressed to you and a few other people.”

“I'll have a look at it now,” Zeke said, taking the present.

Sandy jumped onto Zeke's mother's shoulder as they went inside. Zeke went upstairs as to his room as he decided to open it. His room was as tidy as it could be. He hated to clean, so he had to keep it as neat as possible. His bed was to the left of him and his dresser and desk was to the right. Zeke sat on his desk and opened the card.

Dear Zeke,

It's an honor to meet you. My name is Professor Juniper and I'm the professor assigned to the Unova Region. My base is right here in Nuvema Town, so you're more than welcome to stop by whenever you want.

I know you three missed the deadline because of your injury, but I wanted to make it up to you. Please give word to---

As Zeke read the names, he was shocked at one name in particular.

“NO!” he said in shock, reading the letter. “NOT HER! ANYONE BUT HER!!!!”

The two people he had to choose were Justin, his best friend and partner in crime, and Nana Kyunai, his worst nightmare. They were all friends, of course, but Nana was an odd case. She was obnoxious and rebellious. Zeke took out his C-Gear and dialed her number. The wristwatch was an innovation in communication technology. He was nervous and panicking, hoping Nana wouldn't be to mean.

Yeah what?” Nana asked on the other end.

“H-Hey, Nana,” Zeke said. “Been a while since we've talked, huh?”

    What is it?

Zeke paused for a bit before continuing.

“I got a package from Professor Juniper. It's addressed to me, but it mentions you and Justin.”

Are they the Pokémon we missed?

    “Seems so.”

Okay, I'll be right over. Be sure to save the good one for me!

She disconnected without so much as a goodbye. Zeke sighed as he called Justin's number. He knew he would have a better chance with him than with Nana.

    Zeke?” Justin asked.

“Justin!” Zeke said happily. “How's it going, man?! Listen, I got a package here from Professor Juniper and it includes you and Nana.”

“So they're the Pokémon we missed? Cool. I'll bring Buizel over so we can play. I think he misses Sandy.”

“Well, he'll have a new friend to play with.”

    “Got that right. Later, man!”

They hung up while Zeke looked at the package. Trainers would start out with one of three Pokémon, either a Grass, Fire or Water Type, each with unique skills and evolutions. Soon, the doorbell rang, and Zeke went downstairs to see who it was. He opened the door to see a tall woman with long, dark green hair wearing a ripped, black T-shirt and black leather jeans. She was also wearing spiked bracers with small spikes.

    “Hey, Nana,” Zeke said.

“Hey,” she said, feeling a little unenthusiastic. “My dad isn't too keen on me leaving for a journey.”

“Again with the protective father thing?”

Nana, despite her poor attitude, didn't hate Zeke. She somewhat admired him for his skill from his old mentor, Gus. However, she was a brat.

    “So where's Justin?” she asked.

“Called him a few minutes ago,” Zeke replied. “He should be here soon.”

Zeke closed the door as Nana went upstairs to check on the present. The doorbell rang as Zeke opened it up to see Justin, a teen like Zeke with brown jeans and a brown vest over his white T-shirt. He had long black hair and was wearing a straw cowboy hat. Beside him was a small, orange weasel with two blue, curved fins along the sides of his arms and a tail that split into two. He also had tan spots on his stomach and two spots on his back while having black lines on his cheek.

“Glad to see you, pal,” Justin said.

“Hey, Justin!” Zeke said. He looked down at Buizel. “Hey there, Buizel. Long time since we've seen each other.”

    “Bui bui!” Buizel replied.

    “Let's head upstairs, shall we?”

They all headed upstairs to see what kind of Pokémon they got to start their journeys with. Inside of Zeke's room, they all sat down as Zeke went over the note one more time. He noticed that there was more to it.

“Okay,” Zeke said. “So here's the info that applies to all three of us. 'I have included three Poké Balls within to start the three of you off. They contain the Grass Type, Snivy, the Fire Type, Tepig and the Water Type, Oshawott. Choose wisely and meet me at the lab when you're done.”

Zeke ripped open the packaging and saw three Poké Balls within. Each of them took their choice and looked at each other.

“Are we set with our choices?” Zeke asked. Justin and Nana nodded. “Okay, on three. One. Two...Three!”

They sent their Pokémon out to see light. Nana's Pokémon was a small, green snake-like Pokémon with a long nose. It had a green body with a white underside going all the way from the tip of its tail to the tip of its nose. It also had short stubby hands, short feet and a leaf-like tail. It had yellow above its hazel eyes and yellow strands coming from its shoulders.

    “Sni, snivy!” it said, calmly.

Zeke's was a small, pig-like Pokémon with orange and black on the top of its head, its ears and its rear end, except it's feet, which was also orange. It also had one yellow shape above its red snout. It had a long, curly tail with a red ball at the end and long, pointed ears.

    “Tepig, tep!” it said happily.

Justin's was a small, otter-like Pokémon with a white head and blue, triangular ears and an orange nose. It's body was light blue with fluff around its neck and a shell on its chest, known as a scalchop. It's arms were white and it's legs and flat tail with blue.

    “Osha wott!” it said, curiously.

    “How cool,” Justin said.

Oshawott looked at Justin and ran off, hiding behind Zeke.

“He's afraid of me?” Justin asked.

Buizel walked over to it and explained that he had nothing to worry about. His human was kind. Oshawott walked over to Justin and before he knew it, he jumped into his arms and snuggled happily. Tepig walked over and looked up at Zeke.

“Hey, little guy,” Zeke said. “I'm Zeke.”

    “Tepig!” Tepig replied.

He ran around him and cheered happily.

“I got a friend,” Zeke said, laughing happily.

Snivy looked up and had this cool demeanor. Snivy pounded its chest and nodded. Nana already liked this guy.

“I can get used to you,” Nana said. “You have a bit of a smug side to yourself.”

“Hey, Nana,” Zeke said. “I got a Pokémon strong against yours.”

“Please, I'd kick your butt any day.”

    “Is that so?” Zeke asked.

“I got an idea,” Justin said. “Let's have a battle and see which one of ours is the strongest!”

They all agreed on that and so did the Pokémon. Zeke and Nana were up first, with Tepig and Snivy. Zeke had the advantage, but Nana was a better fighter than Zeke.

    “All right,” Justin said. “Begin!”

“Snivy, use Vine Whip!” Nana ordered.

Snivy shot a Vine Whip that wrapped around Tepig and squeezed the life out of it.

    “How about that?” Nana asked.

    “Tepig, Ember!” Zeke ordered.

Tepig shot an Ember attack that burned Snivy, feeling a lot of pain.

    “Use Tackle!” Nana ordered.

Snivy shot forward and hit Tepig with a tackle attack, knocking it back into the dresser.

    “Ember!” Zeke ordered.

Tepig fired another Ember attack, which Snivy dodged, which ended up burning his bed.

    “Leaf Tornado!” Nana ordered.

Snivy jumped onto its head and spun around, creating a nature tornado that struck Tepig hard, but it failed to do too much.

    “Use Flame Charge!” Zeke ordered.

Tepig engulfed itself in fire and shot like a rocket towards Snivy, who got hit hard, feeling burned even more.

“Guys,” Justin said. “I think we should stop.”

“What's wrong?” Zeke said. “I'm in the mood!”

“I know you are, but...just look at your room.”

Zeke looked around and realized that his room was totaled. His bed was burnt, his desk and dresser collapsed. It was a disaster area.

“My room!” Zeke said in shock.

“That's one clean up job you'll have to do, Zeke.”

    “Wait, me?!”

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. It opened up to reveal Zeke's mother, along with Sandy on her shoulders.

“Is everything all right,” she asked. “I heard---”

She gasped in shock, while all three of them knew that they were in big trouble. They all looked at each other, wondering if they'll be punished for this.

Downstairs in the dining room, they began discussing their story. They were simply having a fun battle and didn't mean to total it. Zeke's mother was very forgiving, but she wondered how she was going to clean all of it.

“We can help, mom,” Zeke said. “Right guys?!”

Zeke glared at the two of them, who had no problem with battling in confined spaces. The two sighed, willing to pitch in as well.

“It's so great that you're all helping,” Zeke's mom said. “Less work to do, right? So, how are your new Pokémon?”

They all sent them out as they greeted her happily.

“Wow, they're all so cute,” she said. “Especially the water one. I've always wanted an Oshawott.

    “Oshawott!” he said happily.

“You are pretty cute,” Justin said.

    “Bui bui!” Buizel said.

“So once you're all done, you'll head to Professor Juniper's right?”

“Yeah. Maybe we can all go on a journey,” Zeke said.

“That does sound good,” Justin replied.

Nana wasn't too sure about all of them going together, but she was excited nonetheless. They eventually headed upstairs to get some cleaning done. The quicker they finished, the quicker they would get to Professor Juniper's. This was the day that they would begin their journey.
